1. Be Patient

You’re going to walk in and chances are there will be a MILLION things to look through. You have to have the patience to look through the racks, and truly take your time, or else you might miss something. If you have the time, space out a few hours and you can really get some quality thrifting in.

What are the biggest mistakes people make when heading to their local Goodwill?

The biggest mistake anyone can make with thrifting is getting too easily frustrated. Every thrift shopping trip isn’t going to be a landmine of designer finds. There are times you’ll walk away empty handed, but you can’t let that turn you off from thrifting. You have to come back with an open mind and come back often as the inventory is constantly changing.
