Connecting the pieces for the Holidays
A closer look in Mrs. T closet: Holiday looks
Oh what a joy it is to celebrate the holidays in some of my favorite thrift store fashion ideas! Hopefully the glitter and sparkles of the holiday bring as much joy to your hearts as they do to mine.
With the exception of my “winter off-white” vintage coat outfit, (shown above), I try to keep versatility in all that I buy. Check out some wonderful thrift finds and what I found in my closet before I went thrifting for this holiday season. You will find the black and wide-leg pants and pink wide-leg pants, red sleeveless dress and the black and white “blooming dress.
Before I go thrifting, I put together some ensembles. This helps me to narrow down what I need and to stay focused. This helps me avoid wanting to buy everything! I always had to remember to shop according to my needs, not my wants. I prefer to buy versatile pieces that are unique and speak to my character. I love when a piece turns into a topic of conversation. My vintage coat outfit would fit in that category.
Join me next month when I’ll show you my DIY thrift projects and my thrift holiday décor.
Happy Holidays from Mrs. T
