At Goodwill Mixer, Young Professionals Pledge to Make Their Mark on Their Communities

Earlier this summer, about 45 young professionals attended The Goodwill Mixer – a night to network, share ideas, and learn about making a difference in the New York metropolitan area through volunteering with Goodwill. Andrew Baehr, Goodwill of Greater New York and Northern New Jersey Board of Directors and Development Committee Chairman, welcomed the guests to Arctica Bar and invited them to take “a first step in learning about Goodwill and participating in our mission, our growth, and our evolution.”

The guests were wonderfully surprised at the depth of programming and support Goodwill provides to the people it serves. Attendees pledged to help develop a GoodLeaders Council – a young professionals group to rally around Goodwill’s mission and spread awareness.
