We mentioned yesterday that the 79th Street Goodwill will be closed for renovations starting today, Friday, February 22nd for the next couple weeks. However, we’ll still be collecting donations. Plus, we’ve got a couple other stores not all that far afield should you need your Goodwill hunting fix. Here’s the skinny, thrifting fans:
Goodwill’s 79th Street Store will close for sales starting Friday, February 22 and is expected to remain under renovation for two weeks. Re-opening date will be announced here, on the GoodwillNyNj website and on our Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/NewYorkNewJersey.
Donations will still be accepted at the door Sunday-Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To donate, just bring your donations of clothing and household goods to 217 West 79th Street, NY NY 10024.
In the meantime, please visit 2 other Goodwill stores located on the West side of Manhattan at 103 W 25th Street, NY NY 10001 and 512 W. 181st Street, NY NY 10033. To find other Goodwills near you, come visit our zip code store locator at http://www.goodwillnynj.org/findgoodwill.aspx. Hope to see you soon!
